Situé au premier étage d'un petit bâtiment, au pied d'un des deux pylônes, à l'écart des studios (repos oblige...), ce local peut accueillir confortablement 4 opérateurs et plus.

Un grand plan de travail spécialement aménagé permet de disposer et d'opérer très rapidement 3 stations.

Le passage des câbles et fils d'alimentation est aisé et laisse entièrement disponible la surface de travail.

Les alimentations sont situées aux niveaux inférieurs, immédiatement en dessous des TX.

Ajouter une antenne, tirer un cable depuis l'extérieur, ne posera aucun problème, des passages sont prévus aux quatre coins du shack.

Enfin, le local est largement aéré et pourvu de 2 ventilateurs (sol et plafond).

Many thanks for all you did to make my trip to Le Calao a successful one.
As 6W/AA1AC, I operated solo from 1500Z on December 1st through 2100Z on December 6.
I was able to make over 3,900 contacts with 68 DXCC entities.
Twenty meters and 40 meters were particularly productive. I also make a few hundred qso's on 17 cw.
I was happy to make over 150 contacts with Japan, mostly on the early morning long-path opening on 20 cw. Many of the signals were 599+.
The equipment at your fine station worked flawlessly. The monobanders and 4-square were superb.
Thank you again for a terrific experience and all best wishes to you and Corinne for a very Merry Christmas!
