The shack

アマチュア無線専用の4 x4 メートルの部屋.

APRS

Located on the 1st floor of a small independant building, at the base of the 2 existing poles, and apart from the lodgings, the operating room can accomodate 4 persons or even more.

A large, fitted out working surface allows the layout and running of 3 stations in no time.

Setting up new cables and electric wires can easily be achieved, leaving the entire working surface free to operate.

Power supplies are located on the lower shelf, right under the transceiver.

The shack has been especially designed to allow quick modifications such as setting up an extra antenna or connecting an additional cable from outside.

The operating room is well aired and equipped with 2 fans.

New:

FREE: High speed DSL
on Ethernet 100 Mbps
and WIFI in the shack

Bonjour JF:
Many thanks for all you did to make my trip to Le Calao a successful one.
As 6W/AA1AC, I operated solo from 1500Z on December 1st through 2100Z on December 6.
I was able to make over 3,900 contacts with 68 DXCC entities.
Twenty meters and 40 meters were particularly productive. I also make a few hundred qso's on 17 cw.
I was happy to make over 150 contacts with Japan, mostly on the early morning long-path opening on 20 cw. Many of the signals were 599+.
The equipment at your fine station worked flawlessly. The monobanders and 4-square were superb.
Thank you again for a terrific experience and all best wishes to you and Corinne for a very Merry Christmas!
73,
Mark Stenning / AA1AC
